Portis, Jovic seen as Heat's trade chips for a star guard

Heat insider Ira Winderman writes that Miami would put Bobby Portis and Nikola Jovic's salaries into a trade package if a significant backcourt upgrade becomes available. Nothing is close, per Winderman, with the team taking a wait-and-see approach after already adding Klay Thompson and Tim Hardaway Jr. this offseason.

Jovic, coming off a down year, is viewed as the more likely piece to move given his contract and the Heat's need for a playmaker alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo.
