Writer urges Heat to deal Jovic for backcourt help

Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley argues Miami should trade forward Nikola Jovic, saying the Heat need tangible contributors rather than theoretical upside after going all-in on Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Buckley notes Jovic's playing time is squeezed at both forward spots and that Miami needs trade chips after emptying its asset cupboard for Antetokounmpo.

Heat insider Ira Winderman separately wrote that Miami would consider pairing Jovic's salary with Bobby Portis's in a deal if a significant backcourt upgrade becomes available, though NBA insider Brett Siegel reported the team already decided against trading Jovic this offseason.
