Nembhard cut loose as Hornets bring back Joiner on camp deal

Charlotte waived guard Ryan Nembhard and signed Jarkel Joiner to a training camp contract. The Hornets will eat $2.1 million in dead money for Nembhard unless another team claims him off waivers.

NBA insider Marc Stein reports Denver is among several teams with interest in Nembhard if he clears. Joiner previously signed an Exhibit 10 deal with Charlotte and is expected to play for the Greensboro Swarm after preseason.
