Mavs-Knicks pitch would swap Bridges for Gafford and Martin

A trade pitch would send Mikal Bridges to Dallas in exchange for Daniel Gafford and Caleb Martin, addressing New York's center void after Mitchell Robinson left for Boston.

The idea would let the Mavericks shed money as they retool around Cooper Flagg, while the Knicks get a starting big and cut roughly $6 million off their apron-adjacent payroll. Nothing here is tied to actual talks between the two teams.
