Jazz give Bez Mbeng a second 10-day deal

Portland claimed big man Micah Potter off waivers from Indiana in July, adding a non-guaranteed minimum deal to an already crowded frontcourt.

Miami claimed Bez Mbeng off waivers and will put him on an Exhibit 10 deal, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Charlotte had signed him to the same type of contract earlier this month before waiving him over the weekend.

Charlotte announced it signed guard Bez Mbeng, filling the roster spot left by Monday's release of Kobe Stewart. Mbeng went undrafted out of Yale in 2025 but earned Ivy League Player and Defensive Player of the Year honors before spending most of last season with Miami's G League affiliate in Sioux Falls.
