Grimes trending toward Lakers starting small forward spot

Quentin Grimes has started all three Lakers preseason games, averaging 13.4 points on 46.2% 3-point shooting, according to Khobi Price of the California Post. Price reports Grimes looks set to lock down a starting role alongside Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and Walker Kessler.

Jovan Buha said on his podcast he views Grimes as one of four starting locks, citing his defensive versatility. Grimes signed a four-year, $60M deal with Los Angeles in the offseason after arriving from Philadelphia.
