Grimes explains why reuniting with Dončić in LA felt personal

Quentin Grimes signed a four-year, $60 million deal with the Lakers this offseason, his first chance to pick his own team after stops in New York, Detroit, Dallas and Philadelphia.

He told ESPN LA radio the move reunites him with Luka Dončić, his old Dallas teammate, and fulfills a family tie since his father grew up a Lakers fan in the Bay Area. Grimes is known as a reliable shooter who can attack closeouts and has a track record on-ball defensively.
