Bulls add guard Jordan Hawkins on two-way deal
Jordan Hawkins has agreed to a two-way contract with the Bulls, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Chicago had an open two-way slot, so no roster swap was needed there, though a preseason player on an Exhibit 10 deal will have to be released.
Hawkins cleared waivers Monday after Memphis cut him, just weeks after New Orleans traded him there in a cost-cutting deal. His production dipped sharply last season under a new Pelicans front office, and this marks a low-risk flyer for a rebuilding Bulls team.
