Mike Conley signed a one-year deal with the Celtics this summer after leaving Minnesota. The Athletic's Jon Krawczynski said on CLNS Media's 'Celtics Daily' that Conley, despite never having played in the East, wanted to spend at least one season with a marquee organization like Boston.
Per the official transaction log, Chicago sent Mike Conley and Coby White to Charlotte for Ousmane Dieng, Collin Sexton and two 2031 second-round picks (Denver's and New York's own). Both teams also generated trade exceptions. Done deal, no rumor stage required.
The Bulls sent Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric to Detroit while acquiring Jaden Ivey from the Pistons and Mike Conley from Minnesota, according to Basketball-Reference's transaction log.
