Wizards add Gortman on Exhibit 10, cut Settle in camp shuffle

Washington signed guard Jazian Gortman to an Exhibit 10 deal and waived forward Steve Settle, the team announced. Gortman went undrafted in 2023 and has bounced through Exhibit 10 deals with Milwaukee, Dallas and Oklahoma City, plus a two-way stint with the Mavericks that saw him play 16 NBA games.

The Capital City Go-Go already hold his G League rights, setting up a bonus worth up to $91K if he sticks there 60 days after being waived. Settle, signed by Washington just a week ago, spent last season with Miami's G League affiliate and is also expected to land with the Go-Go.
