Trade idea would swap McBride to Charlotte for Diabaté

A hypothetical trade floated would send Miles McBride to the Hornets for center Moussa Diabaté, with no indication the two sides have actually discussed it.

The pitch pairs New York's search for a young center behind Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond with Charlotte's crowded frontcourt after adding Naz Reid and Hannes Steinbach.

Both McBride and Diabaté are entering contract years, and the Knicks notably chose not to extend McBride before the August deadline, preserving his trade value ahead of the deadline.
