Trade idea would send Dadiet to Brooklyn, clearing Knicks apron room
A hypothetical trade would send Pacôme Dadiet to Brooklyn along with a protected 2033 second-round pick swap and roughly $2 million in cash.
New York would get back a lower-value second-rounder and shed about $4.8 million, pushing its cushion below the second apron to roughly $8.1 million.
That space would let the Knicks keep both Bruce Brown and Drew Eubanks on minimum deals instead of just one, while still leaving a roster spot open for the trade deadline or buyout market.
Dadiet, the No. 25 pick in 2024, has struggled for minutes behind New York's veteran rotation despite strong G League scoring numbers.
