Three-team deal sends McCollum to Washington, Poole to new Orleans

A three-team trade involving the Wizards, Pelicans and Rockets has been completed, according to Basketball-Reference's transaction log.

Washington acquires CJ McCollum, Kelly Olynyk and a 2027 second-rounder from New Orleans plus Cam Whitmore from Houston, while sending out second-round picks including the 2026 selection that became Jack Kayil.

Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and Micah Peavy also change hands, with Mojave King going from New Orleans to Houston. A lot of moving parts for a deal built largely around guards and second-rounders.
