Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reports the Heat may wait on extending Davion Mitchell to see how he performs and whether top free agents would take their midlevel exception next summer.
Lu Dort, traded to the Hawks after seven seasons in Oklahoma City, told Clemente Almanza he called close friend Nickeil Alexander-Walker as soon as he heard the news.
A completed three-team trade per the official transaction log: Atlanta sends Zaccharie Risacher to Dallas, Dallas sends Ryan Nembhard to Atlanta, and Oklahoma City sends Luguentz Dort to Atlanta. Both Dallas and Oklahoma City come away with trade exceptions. No further compensation is listed in the record.
