Spurs grab RJ Davis' G League rights from Lakers system
San Antonio acquired guard RJ Davis' returning player rights from the Lakers' G League pipeline on September 4, per the G League Transaction Portal. Davis, who impressed with South Bay last season, is on the Spurs' training camp roster on what looks like an Exhibit 10 deal.
If he misses the NBA roster, he could head to San Antonio's affiliate in Austin and still collect an Exhibit 10 bonus worth up to $91,000. In the same swap, the Lakers picked up guard Adam Flagler's rights, though he remains under a two-way deal with Sacramento.
