San Antonio signed guards R.J. Davis and Jon Elmore plus center Malik Williams to Exhibit 10 training camp deals. The Spurs waived guard Jayden Nunn, whom they had signed to a similar deal earlier in the week.
All four players, including Nunn, are expected to land with the Austin Spurs in the G League once training camp wraps up.
San Antonio acquired guard RJ Davis' returning player rights from the Lakers' G League pipeline on September 4, per the G League Transaction Portal. Davis, who impressed with South Bay last season, is on the Spurs' training camp roster on what looks like an Exhibit 10 deal.
San Antonio's 21-man training camp roster includes RJ Davis on a camp invite, believed to be an Exhibit 10 contract. Davis went undrafted out of North Carolina, signed with the Lakers last year and starred for their G League team, averaging 18.4 points and 4.9 assists en route to an All-Rookie nod.
ESPN's Tim MacMahon says there's a good chance San Antonio works out a new deal for Keldon Johnson, who won Sixth Man of the Year last season.
