Philadelphia has signed Johni Broome to a multi-year contract.
Johni Broome has signed with Milwaukee less than two weeks after the Clippers waived him, the team announced. The 2025 second-round pick appeared in just 11 games for Philadelphia as a rookie before being dealt to Los Angeles in a cost-cutting move and cut loose.
The Clippers are waiving Johni Broome, per Jake Fischer of The Stein Line and Bleacher Report and Law Murray of The Athletic. Los Angeles carried 16 guaranteed contracts and needed to trim its roster, with Broome owed the least guaranteed money among them.
Per the official transaction log, the Clippers acquired Johni Broome from Philadelphia in exchange for cash. The 76ers came away with a trade exception. A cash deal is about as low-key as trades get.
