Bucks sign Broome, waive Butler to clear roster spot

Johni Broome has signed with Milwaukee less than two weeks after the Clippers waived him, the team announced. The 2025 second-round pick appeared in just 11 games for Philadelphia as a rookie before being dealt to Los Angeles in a cost-cutting move and cut loose.

Milwaukee waived John Butler Jr. to make room for him, and he could land on a two-way deal or with the Wisconsin Herd depending on the contract terms. In separate moves, Oklahoma City waived undrafted guard Robert McCray V after signing him to an Exhibit 10 deal.
