Nets sign Keon Ellis to multi-year deal

Keon Ellis signed a two-year, $18 million deal with Brooklyn that includes a mutual option for year two. He said reuniting with coach Jordi Fernandez, his former assistant coach in Sacramento, was the main draw.

Ellis struggled shooting last season after a February trade from Sacramento to Cleveland, hitting just 36.3% from three. Fernandez and teammate Michael Porter Jr. both praised his defensive instincts early in camp.
