Mo Gueye to the Lakers in a three-team idea that sends Knecht to Houston
With Jonathan Kuminga off to Minnesota, a proposed three-team deal would bring Atlanta big man Mo Gueye to Los Angeles alongside a 2031 second-rounder, ship Dalton Knecht and his $4.2 million to Houston, and send the Hawks two Lakers second-round picks acquired in the Deandre Ayton deal.
The Athletic's Dan Woike reported last month that the Lakers have several big men on their radar, including Jericho Sims, Karlo Matkovic and Jalen Smith. Gueye averaged 4.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 77 games last season.
