Magic cool on Black extension, Wallace talks hit $25M range
Marc Stein reports Orlando and Anthony Black haven't had meaningful extension talks, with the Magic wary of adding another big contract alongside Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs and Desmond Bane.
Charlotte's Brandon Miller is still expected to get an extension, possibly richer than Amen Thompson's five-year, $208M deal.
Oklahoma City and Cason Wallace have begun extension talks in the $25M-per-year range, with Dyson Daniels and Christian Braun's deals cited as comparables. Dallas's Dwight Powell has waived his right to block a trade if he makes the roster, per Stein.
