Lakers still circling Sims, Matkovic as frontcourt options

Lakers insider Jovan Buha said Los Angeles has continued weighing trades for Milwaukee's Jericho Sims and New Orleans' Karlo Matkovic to bolster the frontcourt behind Walker Kessler.

Buha suggested a package built around Dalton Knecht, Jaden Hardy or Bronny James could get a deal for Sims done, though he called himself uncertain whether Sims solves the Lakers' needs. He added that Knecht and Hardy are the likeliest players to be moved or waived before camp ends if no trade materializes.
