Konchar could still be on Miami's radar after Minnesota move
Brett Siegel reports Miami had genuine trade interest in John Konchar while he was still with Memphis. Konchar was later dealt to Minnesota in the Josh Green trade involving Utah, then waived and stretched to help the Timberwolves sign Jonathan Kuminga, leaving him a free agent.
Miami's interest could persist, with an open roster spot and roughly $2.5 million below the first apron. Siegel notes Konchar's three-point shooting dipped to 28.3% last season, which could cool that interest.
Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus called him a logical add for Miami's depth, a tough, unspectacular combo guard who fits the Heat's need for wing depth after trading for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Nothing is agreed, and Konchar remains unsigned.
