Knicks lean toward Wiseman over Brown for final roster spot
New York is down to one open roster spot and appears set to use it on center James Wiseman rather than wing Bruce Brown, James Edwards of The Athletic reports. The Knicks are worried about depth behind Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond, and Wiseman has impressed coach Mike Brown in camp.
Keeping both would require trading someone like Pacome Dadiet, and Edwards notes no takers have emerged for him. That leaves Bruce Brown, a 2023 champion with Denver, likely to be cut.
