KJ Simpson headed to Turkey's Galatasaray after Nuggets waiver
Guard KJ Simpson is expected to sign with Galatasaray in the coming days, according to Eurohoops' Semih Tuna, who cited Can Bedel of Eski Açık. The club has not formally confirmed the move yet.
Denver waived Simpson from his two-way deal near the start of training camp to add Ryan Nembhard on a two-way contract. Simpson was also cut by Charlotte earlier in the year.
He has appeared in 56 NBA games across two seasons with the Nuggets and Hornets, averaging 6.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists on a .345 shooting mark. He has produced far better numbers in the G League.
