Hornets add Kobe Stewart on Exhibit 10 deal, waive Joiner

Charlotte signed guard/forward Kobe Stewart to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract, waiving guard Jarkel Joiner in the process, per Hoops Rumors.

Stewart is expected to head to the G League's Greensboro Swarm this fall, joining fellow recent signees Josiah Allick, Trey Townsend and Kyle Mangas. The undrafted swingman averaged 7.7 points across 46 G League games last season and appeared with the Bucks in Summer League.

The Swarm would still need to trade for Stewart's rights from the Wisconsin Herd for him to actually suit up and collect the Exhibit 10 bonus.
