Heat weigh camp invites for Gabe Vincent, D'Angelo Russell

Miami is exploring backcourt depth ahead of training camp, weighing a reunion with Gabe Vincent on a non-guaranteed camp deal or a run at D'Angelo Russell.

Russell isn't yet a free agent, and Memphis would need to waive or buy him out before Miami could pursue him. Heat reporter Ira Winderman suggests Memphis, rebuilding around Cameron Boozer, could eventually move on from Russell, though that might not happen until the trade deadline. Neither move is considered imminent.
