Heat leave 15th roster spot open after missing out on Konchar
Miami will likely keep its final standard roster spot vacant after John Konchar signed an Exhibit 9 deal with the Knicks, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. That keeps flexibility for in-season buyout targets.
Jackson also reports the Heat haven't made free agent Gabe Vincent an offer, despite his interest in a reunion, and could instead have him compete for a spot in camp.
Separately, two-way big man Vladislav Goldin's roster spot is described as more tenuous than fellow two-way players Tre Donaldson and Keshad Johnson, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
