Hawks land Alexander-Walker from Wolves for cash and a 2027 second

Minnesota has signed Nickeil Alexander-Walker. No terms disclosed.

Lu Dort, traded to the Hawks after seven seasons in Oklahoma City, told Clemente Almanza he called close friend Nickeil Alexander-Walker as soon as he heard the news.

Sources told ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel the Lakers could have pulled off a two-for-one move to acquire Buddy Hield before he landed with the Bulls. Los Angeles reportedly balked at including a second-round pick to make the contracts work.
