Denver rejected trade offers demanding picks for Cam Johnson
Multiple teams pushed Denver to attach draft picks to Cam Johnson in trade talks, according to Bennett Durando of The Denver Post. The Nuggets turned those offers down, viewing Johnson as a legitimate starter rather than a contract to unload.
Johnson averaged 12.2 points and shot 43% from three last season, and enters the final year of a four-year, $94.5 million deal at $23 million.
