Clarkson explains why he re-signed with Knicks at the minimum

Jordan Clarkson signed a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the Knicks on July 9, without entertaining other offers through agent Rich Paul.

He said he never considered leaving once the money worked out, unlike last year when he first had to negotiate a buyout with Utah. Clarkson now expects a reduced, defense-first role behind Landry Shamet, Jose Alvarado and Miles McBride on the depth chart.
