A Louisiana judge has granted RJ Luis Jr. a temporary injunction allowing him to suit up for LSU this season, according to reports. Luis went undrafted in 2025 and signed a two-way deal with Utah plus an Exhibit 10 with Boston's G League affiliate, appearing in the preseason but never a regular-season game.

Boston has traded Georges Niang to Utah along with 2027 and 2031 second-round picks, per the official transaction record. RJ Luis goes back to the Celtics, who also generated a trade exception in the deal. Both outgoing second-rounders are the more favorable of their respective years.
