The Securities and Exchange Commission has opened an investigation into Daktronics over its dealings with Kawhi Leonard, according to reporter Pablo Torre, who cited comments from the scoreboard maker's CFO on an earnings call.

Bennedict Mathurin remains a restricted free agent because the Clippers haven't pulled their qualifying offer, according to Jake Fischer.

A 2022 first-round pick, he passed through Houston, Oklahoma City, Milwaukee and Phoenix, mostly on two-way contracts.
