+2Writer pitches Powell-for-Porzingis swap between Warriors and Bulls
Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley pitched a trade sending Kristaps Porzingis, Moses Moody, Brandin Podziemski and a top-4 protected 2028 first-round pick to Chicago, while Bleacher Report colleague Dan Favale floated a similar version of the same swap.
Golden State would receive Norman Powell, an All-Star last season, and Jalen Smith in return.
Buckley argues the move gives Stephen Curry another scorer without touching Jimmy Butler or Draymond Green, while Favale contends the picks and prospects would deepen a thin young core around Josh Giddey, Noa Essengue and Dailyn Swain.
Any deal would have to wait, since Powell's new contract bars him from being traded until December 15, and the idea carries no team or league sourcing.
