Wizards sign Tre Johnson to multi-year deal

The Wizards are not expected to give Anthony Davis a four-year, $275 million max extension, according to The Athletic's David Aldridge and Josh Robbins. They cite his age, injury history and the looming luxury-tax aprons as reasons Washington will hold off.

Skal Labissiere has signed an Exhibit 10 deal with Washington, while the Wizards waived guard Jazian Gortman, who had just joined on the same type of contract.

Washington signed guard Jazian Gortman to an Exhibit 10 deal and waived forward Steve Settle, the team announced. Gortman went undrafted in 2023 and has bounced through Exhibit 10 deals with Milwaukee, Dallas and Oklahoma City, plus a two-way stint with the Mavericks that saw him play 16 NBA games.
