Wizards bring back forward Anthony Gill

Washington has re-signed forward Anthony Gill, according to a team press release. The deal is a one-year, minimum-salary contract that is non-guaranteed and carries Exhibit 9 language, according to Hoops Rumors.

His cap charge of roughly $2.45M won't count against the books until opening day, and the full $3.07M salary doesn't guarantee until the January 10 league-wide date.

Gill also waived the no-trade protection normally given to players re-signing with their prior team on a one-year deal. Last season, his sixth with the Wizards, he averaged 5.8 points and 2.9 rebounds while shooting 62.8% from the field in 55 games.
