Westchester trades for Robbins' G League rights after Knicks waiver
The Knicks signed Liam Robbins, waived him a day later, then had their G League affiliate Westchester trade for his returning-player rights from the Rip City Remix.
Westchester sent a 2027 first-round G League pick to the Wisconsin Herd, while Ibrahima Diallo's rights went to the Salt Lake City Stars in the multi-team deal.
The move does not put Robbins back on New York's NBA roster, but gives him a path to Westchester with training camp a week away. New York has yet to fill any of its three two-way spots, and Robbins could be a candidate for one.
