Westbrook linked to Kings return; Holiday buyout seen as unlikely

The Kings want a veteran guard behind rookie Darius Acuff Jr., and Jake Fischer says a Russell Westbrook reunion is a live option. Westbrook averaged 15.2 points, 6.7 assists and 5.4 rebounds in Sacramento last season.

Marc Stein reports Portland has no intention of buying out Jrue Holiday, who has two years and $72 million guaranteed left, and dismisses talk of Blazers interest in DeMar DeRozan.

Stein also says Sacramento will not buy out Zach LaVine for now, preferring to hunt a deadline trade, while several teams are eyeing Dallas forward P.J. Washington.
