Warriors' trade flexibility grows after Curry's team-friendly deal
Stephen Curry's new two-year, $116 million extension leaves Golden State with more room to maneuver than a max deal would have.
The Warriors are unlikely to trade before the season but could be active at the February deadline if the year slips away, with Jimmy Butler's expiring contract, Draymond Green, Kristaps Porzingis and Moses Moody as movable pieces.
Golden State could also use its cap flexibility next summer to absorb salary from Denver, with Aaron Gordon or Jamal Murray floated as fits.
