Warriors ink will Richard to multi-year deal

Golden State has acquired Will Richard from Memphis, per the official transaction record. Heading the other way: Justinian Jessup, Jahmai Mashack and Golden State's own 2032 second-round pick. The deal is logged as complete.

A hypothetical four-team trade would send Joel Embiid from Philadelphia to Golden State, with Anthony Davis heading to the 76ers. Milwaukee would get Jimmy Butler in the deal, while Washington collects Will Richard, Myles Turner and Kyle Kuzma.

ClutchPoints insider Brett Siegel says a rival Western Conference executive views Kristaps Porzingis as Golden State's top trade candidate this season. Porzingis carries a $20 million salary with only $3 million guaranteed beyond this year, effectively an expiring deal useful for matching money.
