Warriors floated Butler, picks for Anthony Davis in Wizards swap idea

ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel raised the idea of Golden State sending Jimmy Butler and multiple first-round picks to Washington for Anthony Davis on the Clutch Scoops podcast.

Siegel called it hypothetical, dependent on both teams' standings near the trade deadline and Golden State's willingness to commit to a big extension for Davis. Both rosters are otherwise expected to stay put entering the season, and there's no indication either front office is actually discussing the deal.
