Warriors extend Gui Santos

ClutchPoints insider Brett Siegel says a rival Western Conference executive views Kristaps Porzingis as Golden State's top trade candidate this season. Porzingis carries a $20 million salary with only $3 million guaranteed beyond this year, effectively an expiring deal useful for matching money.

De'Anthony Melton re-signed with Golden State on a two-year, $12.3 million contract. NBA.com's Jeff Zillgitt named it one of the offseason's ten best under-the-radar moves, pointing to Melton's career-high 12.3 points per game last season.

Golden State released its training camp roster ahead of Hawaii workouts, and Nick Boyd is no longer on it. GSWCBA reports the Warriors waived Boyd and replaced him with Miles Kelly on an Exhibit 10 contract.
