Vanderbilt and Hardy pitched to Hornets for sharpshooter O'Neale

FadeawayWorld's Fran Leiva floated sending Jarred Vanderbilt and Jaden Hardy to Charlotte for Royce O'Neale. The swap would shed roughly $7.6M in salary and get the Lakers to 15 standard contracts, per the pitch.

O'Neale shot 40.8% from three last season and would slot in as a starting power forward. There's no indication Charlotte has actually discussed the deal, though Lakers insider Jovan Buha has said Los Angeles is exploring ways to move both Vanderbilt and Knecht.
