Trade pitch swaps Porter Jr., Mann and picks for Wagner, Suggs
Yossi Gozlan floated a deal on his Third Apron podcast sending Michael Porter Jr., Terance Mann, Noah Clowney and two future first-round picks to Orlando for Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs.
Porter is on an expiring deal, and ClutchPoints' Erik Slater said on the same podcast that Brooklyn and Porter appear far apart on an extension.
An Eastern Conference executive told Heavy Sports' Sean Devaney that Porter would draw suitors but that his next contract demands could complicate a trade, adding the Nets could still land a first-round pick for him.
The swap would make Wagner Brooklyn's top offensive option ahead of Julius Randle, while Orlando would hand Paolo Banchero the reins and start Anthony Black at guard.
