Trade pitch sends Podziemski to Washington for Bub Carrington, picks

A proposed deal would send Brandin Podziemski to the Wizards for 21-year-old guard Bub Carrington plus four draft picks, including a lottery-protected first-rounder.

Carrington, the 14th pick in 2024, averaged 10.3 points and 4.5 assists last season and has never missed a game. The idea is Golden State moves on from Podziemski before his restricted free agency next summer while Washington bets on a younger, off-ball-friendly guard fit.
