Trade idea sends Myles Turner to Lakers for Vanderbilt, Hardy, Knecht

A trade idea floated around the league would send Myles Turner from Milwaukee to the Lakers for Jarred Vanderbilt, Dalton Knecht and either Jaden Hardy or Jake LaRavia, depending on the outlet.

The pitch argues Turner would give Los Angeles a stretch-five option behind an injury-prone Walker Kessler and Kevon Looney at center, while trimming the Lakers' roster to 14 spots.

For Milwaukee, the deal would shed the back end of Turner's four-year, $109M contract as the Bucks build around Kel'el Ware, netting a group they could keep or waive for cap flexibility. Nothing here reflects actual talks between the two teams, just a hypothetical framed around each side's roster needs.
