Trade idea sends Myles Turner to Charlotte for Williams, Kalkbrenner
A trade idea would send Milwaukee's Myles Turner to Charlotte for Grant Williams and Ryan Kalkbrenner.
ESPN's Ben Golliver reports Milwaukee has been unable to move Turner despite shopping his four-year, $107 million contract, which he signed last summer as part of a failed push to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was later traded to Miami.
The swap idea was floated by Wisconsin Sports Heroics, and Heavy's Sean Devaney reports Turner could become available at the deadline if he plays well in his first season without Antetokounmpo. Turner would give the Hornets a stretch center who can also anchor the paint alongside Naz Reid or Moussa Diabate.
Charlotte would likely need to attach draft picks to get Milwaukee to take on Williams' contract, and the Bucks may need a stronger start from Turner to build a better market before the deadline.
