Trade idea sends Kris Dunn to Boston for three second-rounders

A trade idea floated by Fadeaway World's Fran Levia would send Kris Dunn from the Clippers to Boston for second-round picks in 2028, 2030 and 2031, coming from Milwaukee, Washington and Boston.

Dunn's $5.7 million salary would be absorbed into the trade exception Boston created by moving Anfernee Simons to Chicago, with no players needed in return.

Levia notes the move would push Boston about $3.9 million over the luxury tax, working against Brad Stevens' push to reset the repeater tax, and argues the Celtics already have enough ball-handling with Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, Payton Pritchard and Mike Conley.

The pitch has the Clippers stockpiling draft capital without taking money back, while Boston adds defensive guard depth.
