Trade idea sends Durant, Adams to Golden State for Butler, picks
A hypothetical proposal would send Kevin Durant and Steven Adams to Golden State in exchange for Jimmy Butler, Brandin Podziemski, an unprotected 2032 first-round pick and 2028 first-round swap rights going to Houston.
The salaries roughly match, with Butler and Podziemski combining for about $62.5M against Durant and Adams' $58M.
Durant previously blocked a similar reunion before last season's deadline, telling Curry it wasn't yet the time. The pitch comes as Durant deals with injury concerns and Golden State leans on rookie Yaxel Lendeborg for depth.
