Three-team pitch sends Gafford to Lakers, Allen and Knecht to Dallas
A proposed three-team trade would send Daniel Gafford to Los Angeles, reuniting him with Luka Doncic. Dallas would get Grayson Allen, Jaden Hardy and Dalton Knecht, while Charlotte would take on Caleb Martin and Jarred Vanderbilt.
The idea would trim the Lakers roster to 14 and add a healthier backup center behind Walker Kessler and Kevon Looney. Lakers GM Rob Pelinka has said he expects Kessler to play heavily this season, suggesting the front office isn't necessarily shopping for center help.
